Haiqa Koul

I'm a civil engineer who is pursuing her Master's degree in environmental systems engineering. I have worked in water resource engineering and hydraulics on projects related to open channel flow, floods and groundwater flow. I'm currently working on studying biofilms on membranes in drinking water membrane filtration systems in rural communities and the use of UV-LED’s for water treatment. I'm also working in the Liquid Waste Services Department at MetroVancouver as a co-op student. I'm passionate about finding safer ways to disinfect drinking water and wastewater management. I enjoy reading books and hiking in my free time.
